ToughRock® Fireguard X® Stretch 54® Gypsum Board comes with a noncombustible and dimensionally stable gypsum core. It’s designed specifically for walls aligning with a 9ft ceiling height where a designated fire-resistant rating is necessary.1 The use of this 54” wide gypsum board saves you labor and time by eliminating the need for an extra board to fill gaps left from 4′ wide boards. This UL-classified Type X, boasting a flame-spread rating of 15 and smoke developed 0 when tested in accordance with ASTM E84.
